I’m Jourdy – the hopeless romantic fangirl behind this shameless curated corner of the interweb! I started this site as an outlet to gush about all my favorite romance sagas. I’ve always been a rom-com girlie, and I needed a place to just share thoughts (because I have a LOT of them).
I predict this site to mainly cover romance anime, kdramas, scripted “reality” TV, and news related to these since this is what I primarily consume. In the future – if I can one day expand this to a business, I want to also cover premieres, otome games, interviews, BL and more! *fingers crossed*
Let’s Get Real
A bit more personal about me: since college, I worked in broadcast media as a commentator, journalist and professional interviewer in anime, animation, gaming, entertainment, sports and pop culture.
As an interviewer, I have spoken to many high-profile celebrities such as Saweetie, Zeno Robinson, RDCWorld, Royce O’Neal, and Nadji Jeter. My goal is to do more of these interviews for “The Hopeless Fanatic.”
I love watching shows that get me in my feelings and having only one girlie to talk about everything with isn’t always enough, so now I’m spilling my thoughts loud and publicly.
